Nailsea & Backwell U10’s consists of local children joining together every Sunday morning at Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club to learn new skills, exercise, socialise and be part of a team playing some fantastic rugby. The team participates in regular fixtures in and around North Somerset and also takes part in local rugby festivals including the Cheddar Festival.
This season PowellsLaw, are proud to be sponsoring the team. This sponsorship is invaluable to the players, coaches and their supporters. It is providing a vital opportunity for the players to participate in an end of season tour to Ladram Bay during which the team will play Sidmouth and Tiverton. Not only does the tour provide a superb opportunity for the children to showcase their talents against non-local teams but it also enables them to experience a key element of being part of a rugby team, socialising with each other and players of other teams and most importantly have fun. During the tour, as a result of PowellsLaw’s sponsorship, the children will be wearing team hoodies to show their solidarity and which can be kept as a priceless keepsake for years to come.
The team are coached by dedicated volunteers who devote much of their spare time to preparing training plans, arranging fixtures and being there every Sunday morning whatever the weather to make sure the team get the most out of playing rugby. The fundraising committee for the U10’s consists of purely volunteers who work tirelessly to raise funds for the team to provide training equipment and essential all-weather kit. The sponsorship provided by PowellsLaw is greatly appreciated by everyone involved in the U10’s rugby team.
